DONATIONS, APPEALS, FUNDRAISING AND BEQUESTS

DONATE

The foundation of strong communities is in people supporting each other and working together.  If you would like to make a donation to support others in your community, or donate your time to help someone else, please contact the Diocesan Registry, your local parish office (link to parishes), one of our affiliated organisations such as ABM (Anglican Board of Mission), Anglicare Victoria, a School or Retirement Village to find out how you can get involved. Whatever your interests or skills are, there will be an area of need you can connect with where your contribution of money or time will make a great difference.

APPEALS

Throughout the year the Anglican Church supports a number of regular or emergency relief appeals, often through partner organisations here and overseas. These appeals will be promoted through the website and The Advocate, and sometimes through direct email to those on our diocesan mailing list. If you aren’t already on our mailing list and would like to be, please contact the Registry.

FUNDRAISING

Each year our parishes host activities that contribute to local fundraising efforts. By participating in these events you are supporting your parish or local community as well as having a great time! Make contact with your local church or parish office to find out when the next event is on.

BEQUESTS

Many people show their appreciation for the work of the Church by making a bequest. You can make a real difference to the good work of the Anglican Church by making a Will and choosing to leave a bequest which will be a lasting symbol of your generosity. If you wish to make a bequest, please contact the Registrar to discuss your wishes.

VOLUNTEER

There are many ways that you can support your church, parish, diocese or local community.

The simple act of volunteering – giving as much of your time as you are able to spare – can make an enormous difference to someone else. You might want to volunteer in an administrative or lay ministry capacity in the church, work in the local Op Shop, or by contributing time at your local retirement village, school, community group or community support organisation.  You might be able to give as little as a few hours a month or commit to regular weekly involvement – however much time you can spare and whatever your interests and skills, there will be a role for you.

To find out how you can get involved please contact the Diocesan Registry, your local Parish Office, one of our affiliated organisations such as ABM (Anglican Board of Mission), Anglicare Victoria, or a School or Retirement Village.
