Pictured is Reverend Canon Eden-Elizabeth Nicholls ringing the bell at St Luke’s, Yea. A slow steady ring resulted in 33 rings a minute which is significant with 33 being the number of years Our Lord walked the earth. So now we are doing 33 rings and then reading the prayer. Two people from the wider community have asked to go on the roster and have been allocated days. Very positive feedback from the people of Yea and there is often someone standing just outside the church ground at 12noon at the time of the bell ringing and prayer.
