Christ Church, Marysville – A New Beginning & New Challenges

Readers of the ‘Advocate’ will be aware that Christ Church, Marysville now has a new building. The consecration was well covered in the December ‘Advocate’. If you have not already done so, it is well worth reading Bishop John’s sermon for the occasion.
The enthusiasm of the people of Marysville shown at the consecration demonstrated how important the church building is for the town as a place of rest and peace and worship. It is also symbolic of the presence of Christ in the place, but more than that, the church building, as the last piece in the jig-saw puzzle of the re-build of Marysville, is a sure sign of resurrection.
